Group Tour FAQ’s
When is the best time to visit?
We offer tours all season. Spring fills quickly – contact us in fall or winter to secure dates. For a quieter experience, consider afternoon tours from mid-summer through fall. View What’s in Bloom to see what’s happening throughout the season.
Does the tour cover the entire garden?
No single tour covers all 35 acres. You’re welcome to explore the rest of the garden before or after your tour.
Can our group eat lunch at Chanticleer?
We don’t have a café, but picnicking is welcome in designated areas. Groups may bring lunches and store them in coolers in their vehicles or arrange for delivery through our designated caterer. Please carry out all items (we do not have trashcans onsite). Our staff can also recommend local restaurants that accommodate groups.
Do we need parking reservations?
Carpooling groups need parking reservations, available four weeks in advance. Bus groups do not.
Can our tour bus stay on site?
Onsite bus parking is typically unavailable. We’re happy to provide directions to designated offsite parking. If you’re arriving in a smaller bus, limited onsite parking may be possible during off-peak times. Please contact us ahead of your visit to check availability.
Are there accessible paths for wheelchairs, strollers, etc.?
