To create a garden is to search for a better world.

Founders Janet and Adolph Rosengarten, Jr.
Chanticleer is a contemporary pleasure garden recognized for world-class horticultural artistry. Set on a historic estate just outside Philadelphia, the garden harmonizes past and present: the preserved Chanticleer House honors story of the Rosengarten Family while contemporary plantings push horticultural boundaries. Expert horticulturists create ever-evolving plant combinations, inviting visitors to explore paths rich in texture, form, and color. With minimal labeling and gardeners on hand to guide curiosity, Chanticleer is both an inspiring destination for visitors and an essential study garden for the horticultural community.
